Did I beat the GMAT? (700)

by OR Jeremy » Tue Sep 28, 2010 9:56 am
I took the GMAT yesterday and my overall score was 700. This is good

However I am left unsatisfied and feel like I left points on the table.

Q 41 (61st%)
V 44 (97th%)

I just can't help but feel disappointed about my Q score. I know I am capable of doing much better and disappointed in myself for not putting in more prep time (although it is much harder when working full time and taking classes than I expected).

My question is how big of a deal is the low Q score and should I retake?

I plan on applying to schools ranked between 15 & 25 (Indiana U for example). All of my other qualifications would be within the accepted range.

Thanks

My top two choices are Indiana University (Kelley) & North Eastern University. 700 is at the high end of their ranges

Jeremy, you're solid man. 700 is a great score and perfect for Indiana and North Eastern schools.
