Hi All,

I am a Software Engineer working with Infosys Technologies Ltd, hyderabad, India for the Past 1.3 years.
I have just Started Preparing for GMAT and planning to Write the Exam in October.
If I am looking forward to Get into the Class of 2011 for MBA from one of the Reputed Institutions in the US or one among the few such in INDIA that accept GMAT Scores, how much in Advance should i be ready with the Scores and will it be Right if i Write the exam in October ?
Also, please help me with some Suggestions regarding prep. Will Self Study and Prep be helpful or should i join some Classes.
Critical Reasoning and AWA seem to be the Weakest in my Case.
Looking forward to recieve good amount of replies from the BTGers.

Regards

It's definitely feasible to study on your own and do well on the GMAT. I would start with self study first, and then see whether you're making the right progress. If not, then courses can be a big help too.

I don't think you need 4-5 months to prep, but rather 2-3 months. Take a look at these suggested study plans: to-get-a-700-on-the-gmat

Good luck!
