OG material ...urgent clarification reqd.

by teleboy » Wed Dec 10, 2008 11:47 am
I have been hunting for prep material for GMAT...and decided to stick with Official Guides.
But if we ssay OG, then options are as follows: (and I don't follow what not to get to avoid repetition):

#1 > Official guide for GMAT (11th edition) : easily available
#2 > Offcial Guide for GMAT (10th edition) : haven't located it yet !!

apart from these I see:
#3 > Quantitative Review: the official guide (no edition specified)

I haven't seen it, but supposing there is :
#4 > Verbal Review : the official guide (no edition specified).

My doubt is: if I have option #1 and #2...do I need to have #3 & #4 (and are questions going to be repetitive)

Also in what order shud i solving these...?

Please help me with sorting study material as its been eating alot of my time...thanks

I definitely encourage you to get the quant and verbal supplement guides, as well. They are completely different questions and great extra practice. Put that together with OG11, and you'll have over 1,500 problems to work on!

The order in which you do them doesn't really matter. Just remember that the problems go in approximate order of difficulty, so you may want to work on the earlier problems in each section first.

I've never seen OG10 - wait for someone else to chime in on that one. But yes, OG 11 and the verbal and quant guides are different questions.
