Msc Strategic Marketing at Cranfield

Hello everyone,

I received an offer letter for Msc in Strategic Marketing (although i applied for MBA) from Cranfield, UK. Since i was looking for a career in marketing post-MBA, i wasn't too devastated. Does anyone here know anything about the program or the college for that matter?
I also have an offer letter for an MBM at Strathclyde. Since i have work ex of slightly over 2 yrs, i am not being very MBA-specific.
Which one out of the two should i consider?
Any insight will be helpful.

Hi Arti,

I am also planning to apply for the same course along with MBA course. Did you get any feedback about this course? Do you have any idea about the placement scenario after this course? How much was your GMAT score? Did they offer any scholarship?

Hello Anirudhha,

Well from all i have read and heard up until now, it seems like a promising course if you intend to be in Marketing. I contacted a few alumnis from previous batch and they all have nice things to say about university as well as the course. Regarding placements, they say university is really supportive and it does all it can to provide you the opportunities. My score was 700 (42Q, 44V). They have scholarship but only for EU or UK candidates.

Hi,

Since its been two years since this post, I assume one of you has gone through the program at Cranfield. I've been accepted into the MSc. Strategic Program for 2013 and wanted some inputs:

a) What is the course content of the program like? The quality of the program and the faculty? The type of learning - does it lean more toward theoretical or practical?
What is the level of real-world industrial exposure one can expect at Cranfield.

b) More importantly, what is the perception/recognition of this program from Cranfield in different parts of the world, especially if one needs to come back to India and is expecting to land a sales or marketing job (considering the economy in U.K.) How weighted is this program in an MBA crowded market and has it added value to you tangibly in terms of getting quality and meaty job profiles?

c)What is the Cranfield experience like. How is the place and the vibe in University. Being an only post-grad institution I had some concerns about how vibrant the environment is.

Hi I also applied for this course and receive an offer, do you know more about the course ? You could see accommodations on YouTube and have some idea on life at cranfield...
