Target question => Find the total number of members of club X who are at least 35 years of age?

Statement 1 => Exactly 3/4 of the members are under 35 years of age
Therefore, members that will be > or = 35 years = 1/4 of total members but the value of total members is unknown, hence target question cannot be evaluated. Statement 1 is NOT SUFFICIENT

Statement 2 => The 64 women in club X constitute 40% of the club's membership
Total number of members = men + women
Let total = t; men = m and women = w
t = m + 64 and 64 = 40% of t
Therefore, t = 64/40% = 160
160 = m + 64
m = 160 - 64
m = 96
t = 160; m = 96 and w = 64
But no specific information about members > or = 35 years old. Statement 2 is NOT SUFFICIENT

Combining both statements together =>
From statement 1 => members > or = 1/4 of total members
From statement 2 => total members = 160
members > or = 35 years old = 1/4 * 160 = 40
40 members are at least 35 years old

Both statements combined together ARE SUFFICIENT,
Answer = C
