100m relay race

by harsh.champ » Sun Feb 07, 2010 12:13 pm
P, Q and R are three contestants, and they are participating in 100 m relay race. Who gets the first prize?

I. P gets either the third prize or the second prize, and R gets either the second prize or the first prize.
II. P, Q and R are only contestants, and Q does not get the third prize.
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button :)

Just because something is hard doesn't mean you shouldn't try,it means you should just try harder.

1. Insufficient to decide who wins
2. Insufficient to decide who wins it could be P, Q or R

Combined also Insufficient because Q or R can win the race
