GMATPrep Experience

by pixaar123 » Sun May 15, 2011 3:18 pm
I took the first GMATPrep practice test and got 750.
Quant 49 ( 11 wrong out of 37)
Verbal 42 (8 wrong out of 41)

The verbal section was pretty okay but on quant I saw 3 questions that I have seen before either on OG or on this forum.

How do you assess your GMATPrep score if you face questions you've already seen elsewhere and know how to answer?

Thanks

Edit : If it helps, my average score on MGMAT CATs is 690 with SD of 20.

Well, you can skew the score down to a 710 or so. ANd then this is a real indicator of your levels.

MGMAT can be a good test for practice. Dont go too much by the scores. Just analyze your test mistakes. What say?
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)

Okay. I have decided not to read too much into it.
Even if I consider the worst case, where I answer three unknown questions wrong, the quant comes to around 47.
That gives me a score of about 720, give or take 10. I'll take that.

And you are right, I'll just focus on reviewing the test right now. Real test in 2 weeks.
Thanks!
