Statement 1:

\(a =\) Even and units digit of \(a^3\) is same as \(a\)

So, \(a\) can take the following values -

\(a = \{4, 6\}\) Not Sufficient \(\Large{\color{red}\chi}\)

Statement 2:

\(b =\) Odd and units digit of \(b^4\) is same as \(b\) and \(b\) is not \(1\)

So, \(b\) can take the following values -

\(b = \{ 5 \}\) Sufficient \(\Large{\color{green}\checkmark}\)
