Which error type takes precedence in SC?

by shreerajp99 » Tue Oct 02, 2012 5:57 am
Hi All,

I have come across a few sentences wherein even though pronoun error is present, due to lack of parallelism the sentence has been considered incorrect.
I would just like to know what should be the order of precedence while checking a SC question.
Is it like modifier, parallelism,SV agreement, pronoun error etc.
Nothing hard and fast as such, but a framework that can be used so that no error is missed :-)
It will be great if Ron replies :-)

Thanks,
Shreeraj

Focus on verbs first, that is really the only rule that I would offer.

Thanks Jim!
I have gmatprep1 sentence correction document. On an average out of 10 questions,i usually get 7 correct. Is this is a good score.
Does this show that my concepts are in place or is it that gmatprep sentence correction questions are not as tough as actual gmat sentence correction questions?

Thanks,
Shreeraj
