I recently got accepted to the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India. I also got shortlisted for the assessment day to be organized by IESE in Singapore. I'm in a dilemma whether I should enrol in ISB. OR I should spend extra money to travel to Singapore (I'm currently based in India) to attend the assessment day for IESE.
A couple of questions come to mind:
1. How important is it to attend the assessment day to gain admission and get scholarships to attend IESE? Note that these events are being organized only in Barcelona, New York and Singapore.
2. Considering that I want to abroad for 4-6 after my MBA, is IESE a better option than ISB (despite Spain's economic situation)?
3. What are some distinct advantages that IESE offers over ISB?
4. I want to move into a product manager role after my MBA. Currently I have experience in technology consulting. How well will IESE MBA support me with that transition?
