What is the hundredths digit of the decimal Z?
1. The tenths digit of 100z is 2.
2. The units digit of 1,000z is 2.
So I'm thinking to write out the form as "0.abcd". We need to find what b is.
1. 100z = 100(.abcd) = abc.d. This tell us that d = 2. -> Insufficient.
2. 1000z = 1000(.abcd) = abcd. This tell us that d = 2. -> Again insufficient.
Just wondering if you guys think my method is appropriate for conceptualization this problem.
