Hey Gmatgirl !

I think that the answer is C.
First, let's rephrase the question. We get - does S=3r+2?
1)S=3r+2 or S=4r+9 insufficient
2)S=4r-6 or S=3r+2, insufficient
Combining 1 and 2 we get S=3r+2. Sufficient.

Thanks! The answer is C. I chose answer D because I saw that s=3r+2 was in each choice. Except I failed to realized that I had to consider s=4r+9 or s=4r-6. Thanks again!
