This forum has one overriding purpose: to prepare people for the GMAT.

Accordingly, it's important that the questions discussed here serve that purpose. If a question is "absurd", i.e. not something that would ever appear on the GMAT, then spending time on it is actually detrimental to GMAT progress.

There are tens of thousands of "GMAT prep" questions that you can find on the Net. Some of those come from credible sources and are helpful; however, many of those are created by random people who really don't know what they're doing. It's vital for those studying here to be able to tell the difference, and providing the source of your questions helps them to do so.

So, just "find[ing] the right answer" is not, by a long shot, the most important thing. The most important thing is to deconstruct realistic GMAT questions so that when you see similar questions on test day, you know the best way to approach them. Wasting time on unrealistic problems only distracts you from your goal - acing the GMAT.

Such that XYZ is not divisible by 4 and X>Y>Z

1) Any prime number - Z = Positive Odd number
2) X +1 = Prime
