oki with ST 1 we know that -1< X < 0 so as per the definition of that function i will get the X as 0

now with st 2 i have -0.5 < x < 0.5 . now as per the definition of that function i may have X as 0 or X as 1
hence A

If -1 < x < -0.1, 0 is the least integer, which is greater than or equal to x

Sufficient

Statement 2: implies 0 < x + 0.5 ≤ 1 ---> -0.5 < x ≤ 0.5
If x = -0.4, [x] is 0.
If x = +0.4, [x] is 1

Not sufficient.
