DS problem...Need Help with this!

by varunkh85 » Sun Aug 09, 2009 2:51 am
29) Is 6 a factor of (m+1)(m-1)?
(1) M is not divisible by 2
(2) M is not divisible by 3

Rephrase : Find the divisibility by 2,3
(1) => m+1 and m-1 are divisible by 2 (since m is not) but insuf
(2) => either m+1 or m-1 is divisible by 3 (since m is not) but insuff
1+2 suff since divisibility by 2,3 is established;

I feel Ans is c. what are your views?
