If x is an integer, is the median of the 5 numbers shown greater than the average of the 5 numbers?
1) x>6
2) x is greater than the median of the 5 numbers

1) 1 3 7 8 12 -> yes //insuff
1 3 8 12 1000 -> no
2) 1 3 8 9 12 -> yes
1 3 8 9 1000 -> no //insuff

both=same.

i made mistake in choosing the numbers and landed in B
