2) A construction company was paid a total of $500,000 for a project. The companys only costs for the project was for labor & materials. Was the company's profit greater than $150,000 ?

i) The companys total cost was 3 times the cost of the material.
ii) The companys profit was greater than its cost for labor.

I get lost trying to formulate an equation here. The OA is C. Can someone explain the soln. Thanks

Hey buddy!

Well, most of the time people mention that the question they have is from gmat prep. So just search for the word GMAT PREP in the main search box and you will get majority of the questions. But there is no LIST of all the questions from GMAT PREP.

A personal advice: Don't read up on GMAT prep question before you have taken the actual test. What I have been told by everybody is that GMAT prep tests are the closest to estimating your real gmat scores. So if you have already seen all the answers, your test scores will get skewed. So save these tests till the end to test your self.

I hope that helps!

For future posts, would you mind hiding the OA ?
