1) x^3 is an integer
2) cubed rt (x) is an integer

I was having a tough time on the first statement. Is there a time when x^3 is an integer, but x is not? Maybe it's the way I'm approaching the problem.

Thanks!
Rephrase (1) as follows.

(1) if k is an integer, is cubic root of k an integer?

Sometimes, it is; some times, it is not. Insufficient.
