Both the usages of transparent enough ... are incorrect : Eliminate D and E.

C is incorrect because it uses past tense, while the un-underlined part talks about present time.
B is incorrect because it omits that after transparent (also we need simple present , there is no need of perfect tense).

Hence we are left with A only.

In addition, the idiom " so XXXXX as to be" is correct usage ("so as to be" is incorrect).

In B, has been (present perfect) should be in the same tense as is (present). Eliminate B.

In C, was (past) should be in the same tense as is (present). Eliminate C.

In E, enough so as to be is not idiomatic. Correct idioms include X enough to Y and so X as to be Y. Eliminate E.

In D, enough that is a construction to be avoided on the GMAT. The preferred idiom is enough TO. Also, enough does not convey the intended meaning of the original sentence: SO transparent means unusually or extremely transparent; transparent enough means sufficiently transparent. Eliminate D.

The correct answer is A.

I have heard people using the enough ... that construction so many times casually . I began to think the construction is accepted

Hi Mitch,

Thanks a lot for your response. In Princeton review tests also I have seen few SC questions whose answer has enough that usage & the explanation done by Princeton is that enough that is an idiom :-(
