I dont have an impressive academic till now : 68% in 10 , 74% in 12 , 71% in B.E.

I am a State level Basket-ball player.

But I have a Work experience of 3 years in Oracle Corporation.

Where do I stand ? Should I attempt GMAT ? if yes then how much score atleast do I need.

Someone please reply , because I dont want to get frustrated bcoz of my academoc history after giving GMAT.

Dear ravijaan,

For business school admissions, your 10th and 12th marks do not factor into your evaluation. Your university transcripts and GMAT score are the measures used to evaluate your academic aptitude. Your work experience, rationale for an MBA, and career goals are also key pieces in your evaluation for the committee. Depending on the schools of interest to you, your GMAT score should ideally be at or above the average for those schools to be competitive. Since you are in the IT industry and in India, you are part of a large percentage of the global MBA applicant pool. As such, your GMAT score needs to be on the higher side (710+) to be competitive for top 20 global MBA programs.

Good luck,
Lisa
