Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post and provide your feedback. Based on my summary profile below, I’d like to gather some feedback on what my target GMAT score should be in order to be considered for the Part-Time MBA program at the University of Chicago or Northwestern. I understand that the admission requirements for the part-time programs are not as stringent but I’m having difficultly finding accurate information on either of these programs.
B.S. The Ohio State University - 2001
Major: Financial Management ; Minor: Economics
Overall GPA: 2.8
Major GPA: 3.6 (I was originally a Mech Engineering major which weighed down my overall GPA a ton)
Current job: Sr. Financial Analyst
7 years of work experience (Financial Reporting/Accounting)
Launched an online startup 2005-2007:
The concept was an online platform for ride-sharing to Chicago airports. The online platform was built, tested and launched along with contracts with local transportation companies which provided the actual vehicles. Our service was active for approximately one year before shutting down due to a rapid increase in gas prices which squeezed margins to next to nothing.
