What is the number of multiples of 4 in 5 consecutive integers?
1) The median of them is 4
2) The average (arithmetic mean) of them is a multiple of 4

There is one variable in the original (n, n+1, n+2, n+3, n+4). Hence, the correct answer is D.
Since , 1)=2), the answer is unique and the condition is sufficient. Hence, the correct answer is D. If we apply the common mistake type 4(B), the answer is D.

in such types of problems it is always better to assume [n-2, n-1, n , n+1, n +2] as the working set.
both statement 1 and 2 boil down to n=4.
