575. Pensions are now viewed as a deferred payment of salary, money a worker is compelled to put away to take care of one’s later years.
(A) a worker is compelled to put away to take care of one’s
(B) that a worker is compelled to put away to take care of oneself in
(C) a worker is compelled to put away to take care of oneself in
(D) workers are compelled to put away to take care of them in
(E) workers are compelled to put away to take care of themselves in

IMO E...

oneself or themselves required instead of one's or them...A & D out

that is redundant in B...

Btw C & E....I choose E because we are talking about pensions of workers not pension of a worker....so workers....themselves...nt sure if its the right reasoning...

IMO E

beacause A B and C are violating noun-noun agreement(pensions(plural)-workers(plural)

and In D use of them is incorrect
So E

pensions is definetely plural in main clause.
However money refers to an individuals pension and hence refere to one single worker's pension.

E for me. I don't think you can use the "one" to refer back to "a worker". You need "he or she".

IE: ...work a student must finish in order to receive his or her grade.

so: ...money a worker is compelled to put away to take care of himself/herself in later years

Then, it also would have been a perfect choice. I don't think that there is anything wrong in using one- oneself.
