Retake GMAT a good option? what should be study strategy?

Hi,

I took my gmat yesterday and scored a dismal 620. I plan to retake GMAT again in Jan. Please suggest what should be the mode of preparation to score 80-90 points above the current score. I have taken many mocks and did see a scores between the range of 660-740! But the gmat turned out to be a disaster with the lowest score ever. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Well, it really depends on your previous strategy and materials used up until now. If you could provide more info, I'd be able to help. Anyway, if you're interested in a study guide, here's one where I've also mentioned a couple of resources you might find interesting.
