Hi everyone,

I just started out with GMAT practice and had a 710 in the GMATprep practice test this morning, with a 44 in quant (70%) and 44 in verbal (97%). Last week, I did the other one and had a 680 with (not sure about this part) 45 in quant and 39 verbal.

Ideally, I'd like to get a 760, and I'd like to take the test in about 3 months in order to have plenty of time for round 1 applications in the fall. I do have a full time job, so study time is limited, but I plan to spend a few hours each week on this.

My focus will definitely be the quant part, as I'm scoring much lower there right now and actually feel confident that I can go up a few points there. There's not much to improve in verbal, and most of my mistakes are sentence correction. English is my third language, so this will be a tough one to improve.

I have the OG and the quant & verbal books from the same company. What other materials do you suggest for someone looking to mainly improve on the quant part and planning on scoring this high? I have a feeling that I need a more in-depth math review. Any recommendations there?

Thanks in advance!

Check out my recommended books, https://www.beatthegmat.com/books.html

For a top scorer like yourself, take a look at the Manhattan GMAT books as well as the Kaplan 800 book. The Kaplan Premier books is also pretty good for math review.

Good luck!
