Hi Stacy / Linda,

I am an Indian applicant. A brief information about myself:

Age - 25
GMAT 670 (Q-50, V-31)
GPA - 3.2
Work Experience - 4 years
Undergraduation - National Institute of Technology, India

I have worked for nearly 4 years in an automobile industry. During my tenure I have worked on couple of projects and contributed in new product development. After 4 years, I decided to quit the job and then started working in area of my interest. I have formed a band alongwith my friend, We perform shows in rural parts and in some parts of cities. I have also launched mine music album. I am a music composer, singer and song lyricist. I am seeking an MBA to learn techniques to run business as I am aspiring to start my own music company.

I am targeting following schools:
Booth, kellogg, Columbia, HEC Parris, IESE...

Can you please suggest me some schools, which will be helpful to achieve my aspiration.

Thanks in advance.

Dear mithilesh.vnit85,

I would suggest you look at programs with strong entrepreneurship courses since you want to start your own music company. You might check out Entrepreneur magazine's ranking for the best MBA programs as a place to start in identifying schools to research further. Keep in mind that you will be most competitive at schools where your profile is at or above average to the school's class profile.

Good luck,
Lisa
