I have just seen the question in beat the gmat practice questions and the experience was thrilling.

Is it that these questions are inline with the questions, which appear on GMAT, interms of complexity or are more complex?

First let us use option 2 : BC = 12

Since the radius is given 6 => BC is 2r = d;

But we need area = 0.5 bh but we only know sqrt (b^2+h^2) = 12

Now use option 1: B= h

So using both 1&2 you can find Area

Ans: C
