IMO C. I felt both statements are required to determine the points.

y = x^2+x(a+b)+ab

Stmt1: a+b = -1.
Stmt2: ab = -6

Using both the statements, we get the equation as y=x^2-x-6 ==> y=(x-3)(x+2). So, the two points at which the graph intersect the x axis is at 3 & -2.

What is the OA?

Thanks for the answer Vemuri, unfortunately I don't have the OA, but you are right it should be C. Btw, very slick how you converted AB= -6 on statement 2, I didn't see that when I tried it.
