Here we go...

I'll be testing in May. I am currently a college Jr. and will enter a early MBA program.

Starting out I plan on studying the Kaplan Premier, OG, and Princeton, repectively for the first two hours a day 5 days a week. I intend to take as many tests as I can from now until the test (aiming for late May)
Also, having taken a course in Logic at school I plan on getting a good book on everyday logic which I am positive will help with the Critical Reasoning Questions.
Other than that I'll be paying more attention in my Math class.

Hello there,
After procrastinating about taking the GMAT for a year and a half I will *finally* be taking it up on 12th of May.

Resources I am using:
OG - 10th Edition
Kaplan GMAT 2005 with CD-ROM book

After a reality-check I believe I am weak in the verbal section. So I purchased the Kaplan book for Verbal practice (author Ingrid Multhopp).

I did take the Diagnostic Test that was on the CD that came with the Kaplan GMAT book and scored a 560. Not too great a score, but hopefully with practice I can improve my performance. I have heard and read so many times that there is some discrepancy (in the level of difficulty) between the PowerPrep and Kaplan software. So I decided to take the diagnostic that came with the Kaplan CD.

Just registered today on this site and hopefully with all the good stuff and help available, I look forward to scoring well on the actual exam.

Cheers!

I had to choose this nick because I have been planning on taking the GMAT since Nov. 2005 :). Initially I was "on the fence" about going in for an MBA versus going in for a PhD. Being an engineer (you can use other adjectives too, like nerd, geek, etc. :)) I was biased all along about just pursuing a career in engineering. But after some rather eye-opening experiences at work, I have started thinking that getting into the managerial side of things is something that can turn out to be interesting. I still want to be an engineer after I get my MBA, but right now I will focus on my GMAT and then worry about how to put the two together :). To put in other words, the lure of $$$$ is just too hard to resist,

Cheers!
