Without knowing exactly what you want to do with your career, I would strongly advise you to consider doing the MBA over the MSc or other MS degree in commerce or business. Why? Marketability. THe MBA is an internationally recognized degree affording you career-long respect and access. If you think you will need your degree to get attention from a potential employer, you should work a couple of more years and then do the MBA instead. Especially with your high GMAT potential, I think you would be glad you made the decision to do it 5, 10 or 20 years down the road. I have many clients every year who got MS degrees in business and return for their MBA later because the MS is not getting them where they want to be. It just doesn't have the same amount of cache in the business world. Now, having said that, if you are simply looking to expand your tool kit and knowlege base and will be forging your own way (without reliance on an employer, company or boss) to recognize and reward you, the MS could be a good route.

I'm a management consultant - I think we need to talk. I can walk you through the differences of MSc vs. MBA from management consulting perspective - ultimately you can decide which one would best suit your needs.

I can arrange a quick 20-30 minute call. If interested - please send me an email on the address below with BTG Reference link.
