If p is a positive integer, what is the value of p?

(1) p/4 is a prime number.

(2) p is divisible by 3.

Stmt I

p = 4*prime

p can be anyhting like 8,12..etc.

INSUFF

Stmt II

p is divisible by 3

Many possibilities

INSUFF

Together:

p = 4* prime

p divisible by 3

4 is not divisible by 3 therefore the prime has to be diviisble by 3 and that prime has to be 3 with p = 12
