What is the remainder when B is divided by 6 if B is a positive integer?

(1) When B is divided by 18, the remainder is 3

i.e. B may be 3, 21, 39, 57... etc
Remainder when B is divided by 6 = 3 for every possible value of B hence
SUFFICIENT


(2) When B is divided by 12, the remainder is 9

i.e. B may be 9, 21, 33, 45, 57... etc
Remainder when B is divided by 6 = 3 for every possible value of B hence
SUFFICIENT
