Hello,

It is great that you are thinking of B-school preparation even when you've just graduated from college. Most top B schools require a minimum number of year of working experience, something between 3 to 5 years at least with the US schools requiring lesser number of year than the European schools which are typically 1 year in length. The advantages of preparing early is so that you can make the right career & personal development moves to chart yourself towards your ideal B School.

What your preparations will be depends on these factors:
- Any preferred B schools that you are targeting?
- Any ideal career you wish to achieve post the MBA?
- Which geography would you like to based yourself in? Are you open to international exposure?
- Any timeline you've in mind?

Knowing that you have just entered the work force, it may be still fuzzy for you to get clear answers to the above questions but it will be all to your benefit to start the thinking now and have this discussion earlier than later.

hope the above information helps.

Best,

In investment banking applicants often have similar experiences so do your best to seek out leadership experiences that will differentiate yourself from other investment banking MBA applicants, like designing a quantitative training program or seeking additional responsibilities on projects. Also, knock out the GMAT now. Within your community service and personal life also seek out new activities and advance in ones you are presently involved. Furthermore, start visiting MBA schools you wish to target.

Good luck and have a great weekend!!!
