GMAT Score 660

Hi

Below is my GMAT score. I have work a experience of 4 years and 1 month. Which colleges should I aim for. I am interested in the Media & Entertainment course at NYU but i think that the score is a bit low. Please advise.

Analytical Writing - 5.0 / 57%
Total - 660 / 81%
Quantitative - 48 / 80%
Verbal - 32 / 64%
Test Date - 01 October 2011

Well, that's not really enough info to give you a real evaluation. We need to know who you work for, what you have done, how many people you lead, your GPA, your undergrad school. Basically as much info as you can give us!!!

Other top Media schools are: UCLA, USC, Austin, Columbia, Boston University, Boston College.

Hi Jon,

Thanks a lot for providing the names of other other schools for Media.

I work for Wipro providing support to Citi operations in Asia Pacific, Europe & North America. I will be completing 5 years with Wipro on 3rd Sep, 2012. I manage a team of 26 individuals currently and am responsible for their appraisals. My GPA is 3.14/4. I have completed my BE in Computer Science from Mumbai University.

That is darn good my friend!! You better write that in your essays! :)
I think that would make you a stronger candidate then you would otherwise be. If you apply to the schools I listed I think you could get an admit.
But you do have a tricky point about your goals - meaning how to SHOW the school that you can succeed in a totally new industry, and how to draw a line from your past to your present.
