Hi,

I am looking for a part-time graduate course in Finance or Financial Economics in the US, preferably near the Great Lakes area and the North East.

I have non-financial background and over a decade of work experience- mainly in IT and Retail consulting.

Could anyone advise me/provide guidance on the Graduate courses offered by the following universities?

1. Northeastern
2. University of Michigan Dearborn
3. Kelley Business school
4. Ohio University
5. Ohio State University
6. Weatherhead school at Case Western

Thank you all, have a great day.

University of Rochester offers a full-time MSF program in Rochester and a part-time MSF in New York City which might be more appropriate, but I've been told that they do tend to prefer applicants with a finance background.

With your background you really need to consider the class profiles of the schools. Some schools offer 1-year MSF programs and these tend to be reserved for people who studied finance/economics/math in undergrad. For someone with your background a 2-year program may be more appropriate as you'll need that first year of lower-level finance courses, but then again you also want a part-time program. You also have not posted your previous education and GMAT scores which are major determinants of where you may be accepted.
