Is x-y>x+y can be reduced to is -y>y? this is only possible when y is negative.ansumania wrote:hi,

I. x=8 and x-y>10, means y<-2. so y is negative and hence SUFFICIENT.
II. y is negative and hence SUFFICIENT.
