Hi, My profile is as follows:
GMAT - 730 (48Q,42V) AWA 6.0
B.E (electrical) CGPA - 2.83/4
12th - 76.4%
10th - 87.8%
7 yrs exp in IT industry - with 5.5 in a single Indian IT company and 1.5 yrs in top multinational (both good brand names).
Have held team/project lead position (though currently in purely technical position).
Though in IT, have worked for Insurance client, so have some exposure to insurance business.
International exposure - 2yrs UK exp, rest in India.
Leadership stories - can provide examples from work about some interesting challenges (though at level of team lead and not purely managerial).
References - can come up with references from previous managers and clients (from India and UK).
Extra curricular - not great, have some examples of event organization in college but not much.
Future aspiration - I would like to move either to sales side of IT/technology business or move in business development area of BFSI in IT business.
I am planning to apply for 2013, so I believe I have some time to work on weak areas. Where should I concentrate more and what options do I have to overcome these?
I would like to apply in top 10-15 colleges only. What are my chances?
