hi...

Can you please recheck the question...as the main question can be deduced to

An=+/- 1 since An +1 = 1+ (1/An)

and A5=+/- 1.

a1=1 from there we need to find a5=1+(1/a4):
For n=1 a2=1+(1/a1)=1+1=2 Similarly,
For n=2 a3=1+(1/2)=3/2
For n=3 a4=1+(2/3)=5/3
Finally we get a4=(1+3/5)=8/5 = C.)
