a child selected a three digit number xyz, where x,yand z denote the digits of the number. If no two of the three digits were equa, what was the three digit number

1) the sum of the digits was 10
2)X<y<z

can someone help me to understand

Basically u r selecting a 3 digits number where all the digits are unique(no repetition)

Stmt I

Sum of digits be 10

1+3+6 = 10
1+4+5 = 10

The number can be 136 or 145

Different answers possible INSUFF

Stmt II

x<y<z

123
132...

so on...

Still we can have 136 or 145
