URGENT - rescheduling test date - help please!!!

Today evening I got a mail from GMAC that my test center is unavailable on the test date, which is 18 Jan...
this happened to me already and i shifted the date from 14 Jan to 18 Jan.

problem is now there is no dates available on weekends, and i cant get a leave from office in a very short notice.

Do anyone know, how long I have time to reschedule the appointment?
because i may not be able to decide and reschedule within this week (actual test date is 18 Jan, sunday)...
I searched GMAT bulletin and mba.com but could not find any related info.

I would suggest that you contact those who run the tests (Pearson VUE, I believe) and find out. They should have customer service numbers that you can call, and this information should be on your confirmation email when you first scheduled your test.

(I must say that this is a very unique situation and I don't know if many people have experienced this. I don't understand why the test centre would just become "unavailable" out of the blue on such short notice.)

The problem is they sent the mail at 6PM and I saw 1.5 hours later...
GMAC works between 7am and 7pm
so I have got to call them tomo.
meanwhile i wanted to know if they will give me some time to decide?
because if the test date is crossed i may lose my 250$ :evil:

I called up today...

I want to update this thread, so that it will be useful for someone who faces a similar situation (i wish you dont!)

For cases like these, we have time till one year to reschedule the new appointment free of cost.

Unfortunately test dates are available only on 4 Feb in my test center...

:idea: I take this +ve, and try to boost my score using this additional time
