Dear mdshariqahmed:

Unfortuantely, I do not have any additional insight into those programs than you might from the internet, articles, or the like. If you haven't already, you might try to visiting the campuses, ask to be connected with an alumnus and/or current student, and review their placements from the last couple of years to see if they match to your career goals.

Good luck!

MBA programs in Dubai

by k8bell » Thu Mar 12, 2009 9:33 pm
Hi mdshariqahmed,
There are a few internationally-known, top ranked business schools that offer full or part-time MBAs in Dubai. Here are the ones I know of, but there are probably others:

Hult International Business School has one-year full time MBA programs and longer part-time MBA programs. They can be completed entirely in Dubai or on rotation with their other campuses in London, Shanghai and Boston. More info: https://www.hult.edu/mba-program/campuses/dubai

London Business School has a full time program for 17-20 months taking place in Dubai and London. This is a pretty new program, and has been very popular.
More info: www.london.edu/programmes/dubailondonemba.html

Cass Business School has a part-time MBA program taking place one week-end per month with Cass professors. For more info: www.cass.city.ac.uk/mba/dubai/index.html

Like seriously? If you're planning to invest your hard earned money to advance in your career, I would suggest you do a detailed check on the rankings first. You would be surprised. A lot of them claiming to be the best are not even ranked in the top 50.

What do you want to specialise in? Islamic banking, energy and government SME, for instance, are some of the sectors that are witnessing tremendous growth of late.

These days Islamic banking is growing 50% faster than the mainstream banking sector. I would definitely recommend it for a career investment. If you're already working and looking to apply in an EMBA programme, I would highly recommend CASS. It's a top-ranked British university that is offering a wide range of EMBA courses in Dubai. Check out their website and see which programme suits you the most:
