Question Number : 1
y = 2^x

Now, 2^(x + 3) = (2^x)*(2^3) = 8*(2^x) = 8y

The correct answer is E.

a^(y - x) = a^(-(x - y) = 1/[a^(x - y)]

Hence, 1/[a^(y - x) + 1] = 1/[1/[a^(x - y)] + 1] = 1/[1 + [a^(x - y)]]/[a^(x - y)] = [a^(x - y)]/[a^(x - y) + 1]

# 1/[a^(x - y) + 1] + 1/[a^(y - x) + 1]
= 1/[a^(x - y) + 1] + [a^(x - y)]/[a^(x - y) + 1]
= [1 + a^(x - y)]/[a^(x - y) + 1]
= 1

The correct answer is C.

= 3*(a^6) - 2*(a^6) - a^5
= a^6 - a^5

The correct answer is C.
