Also responsible for driving process excellence for sales, service and marketing department. I have a team which supports me in this task and i lead this team. Also worked in cross functional teams in organisation level Quality improvement projects.

I am aspiring for ISB in round 1 and am planning to take GMAT in 1st week of September. In Academics I had 67% in 10th and 77% in 12th.

Hobbies & Extra curricular:
1. Member of Rotary club, have conducted fund rising events

3. Have established Music club in my company
4. Have established Rock band in my company, was a guitarist and a lead singer

Please evaluate my profile competitiveness for ISB and also let me know hat GMAT score I should target.

Hi Chirag,

I feel that you need to highlight your achievements in and outside workplace. You must write about your team headship qualities in application essays and showcase professionalism and maturity during final interviews. As you have an avg. acads, I would suggest you to target 710+ GMAT score to become competent for ISB. Your extra-curricular looks fine.

Feel free to post any other queries you might have.

Best

Hi

Assuming that post MBA, you want to work in Operations/operations strategy domain; your profile is very relevant. You should aim at getting 700+ in GMAT as jobs in operations domain require strong analytic capabilities and good GMAT score gives that assurance to Adcom. Plus, your academics are not strong (X,XII, so its vital that you score well in GMAT :)
You have substantial experience in people management & have capability to make things work on ground. Extracurricular looks fine - do leverage in well and in right context.
ISB would be a good option and a well structured career goal should help you get through. However, you need to be cautious about your goals and do a fair bit of research around what kind of jobs are being offered in ISB and whether you seek a consulting role or a core job in operations domain.
You may also consider Ross, CMU tepper, IMD as these schools have strong pedigree in Ops/SCM.
We have mentors from CMU/ISB who have worked in core operations and would help you along your application process.
