left handed vs right handed- Must Be True

Left-handed persons suffer more frequently than do right-handed persons from certain immune disorders, such as allergies. Left-handers tend to have an advantage over the right-handed majority, however, on task controlled by the right hemisphere of the brain, and mathematical reasoning is strongly under the influence of the right hemisphere in most people

If the information above is true, it best supports which of the following hypotheses?

(A) Most people who suffer from allergies or other such immune disorders are left-handed rather than right-handed.

(B) Most left-handed mathematicians suffer from some kind of allergy.

(C) There are proportionally more left-handers among people whose ability to reason mathematically is above average than there are among people with poor mathematical reasoning ability.

(D) If a left-handed person suffers from an allergy, that person will probably be good at mathematics.

(E) There are proportionally more people who suffer from immune disorders such as allergies than there are people who are left-handed or people whose mathematical reasoning ability is unusually good.

Please explain.

A) Too extreme.
B) Not possible.
D) Not possible.
E) Not possible.

IMO is C

C is definitely a contender, but it is doing a comparison based on all people who are right handed and left handed.

IMO - A - as it restates the premise..

My answer: B. It alludes to the fact that left-handed people are good at math (left-handed mathematicians) and that they are susceptible to allergies. (Although a flaw is that it doesn't compare that to the statistics of right handed mathematicians).
A: only allergy
C: only math
D: no correlation mentioned between allergy and math
E out of scope.

IMO C

left handers have advantage over right hander in task which are controlled by right hemisphere... implies left hander use right hemisphere to perform tasks....

also right hemisphere responsible for mathematical ability implies left handers good in maths.

i am clueless bout my direction but i wud have chosen C if i were giving test.

Why don't we have the OA for this?

Please post the OA.

It definitely helps to see questions and to discuss them, but it leads nowhere without the OA.

Answer C.

(a) left handed suffer from allergy more frequently. concluding A is insufficient.
(b) not true
(c) left handers are good in task controlled by right atmosphere so C IS TRUE
(d) insufficient
(e) not stated
