Slope from Gmat prep1!

by Shiram » Thu Sep 23, 2010 5:55 am
If line l and k are lines in the xy-plane, is the product of the slope of l and k equal to -1?

1. Line l passes through the origin and the point (1,2)
2. Line K has x-intercept 4 and y-intercept 2.

stmt I wud give the eqn. for line l
stmt II wud give the eqn. for line k

once both the eqns. are known, lines slope can be found out.
