please refer to the attachment for the figure.

the measure of angle PRS is how many times greater than the measure of angle PQR?

(1) angle QPR = 30 degrees
(2) the sum of the measures of angle PQR and PRQ = 150 degrees

OA is D

The right wordings of the question are "the measure of angle PRS is how many degrees greater than the measure of angle PQR?"

We in fact need to answer: What is ∠PRS - ∠PQR?

(1) We know that, ∠PRS = ∠PQR + ∠QPR; exterior angle property of triangle.

Hence, ∠PRS - ∠PQR = ∠QPR = 30° (given).Sufficient

(2) With the sum of the measures of ∠PRQ and ∠PQR known, ∠QPR can be obtained and ∠PRS - ∠PQR can be found accordingly. Sufficient

both statements will give the answer.

1) angle QPR =30
THEN SUM OF ANGLE PQR AND ANGLE QRP =180-30 =150

WHICH IS STATEMENT (2)

ASSUME ANGLE PQR =x
AND ANGLE QPR =30

THEN ANGLE PRS =X+30

DIFFERANCE OF THESE TWO ANGLE WILL BE 30 FROM BOTH STATEMENT INDIVIDUALLY.
