Statement 1:
Insufficient. If mv=6 then m+v could be 2+3=5 or (-2)+(-3)=-5 or 1+5=6 or so on..

Statement 2:
Insufficient.
(m+v)^2=25
m+v=5 or
m+v=-5

Statement 1 and 2 together:
Insufficient
m+v = 5 or -5

Hence E

IMO E.

choice 1: could be (3,2) (-3,-2) and various other numbers: INSUFFICIENT

choice 2: (m + v) can be 5 or -5: INSUFFICIENT

together: still insufficient because they can be (3,2) (-3,-2).

E

1. Insuff
as M and v can be -3,-2 3,2 1,6 which results multiple answers

2. Insuff

M+v can be +/- 5

Together: Again insuff as you have -3,-2 and 3,2 to satisfy both ....

hence E

what is OA ?

The answer has to be E unless, the question says m and v are positive integers!!
