Statement (1) is sufficient.

BD = BC, since angles are equal

in ADB, 180-2x + x + Angle ABD = 180
Therefore, x = angle ABD

Therefore, AD = BD = BC

At night, eat a high carbohydrate meal (pasta), watch a movie, then go to bed early.
