what is (2^2-1)(2^2+1)(2^4+1)(2^8+1) equal to?

(2^2-1)(2^2+1)(2^4+1)(2^8+1
(2^4 – 1)(2^4+1)(2^8+1)
(2^8 – 1)(2^8+1)
2^16 – 1

start multiplying from left using (a+b)*(a-b) = (a^2-b^2)

you will get (2^16 -1) as answer
