At a certain bookstore, each notepad costs x dollars and each markers costs y dollars.
If $10 is enough to buy 5 notepads and 3 markers, is $10 enough to buy 4 notepads and 4
markers instead?
1). each notepad cost less than $1
2). $10 is enough to buy 11 notepads
can someone tell me what the answer should be..IMO it's (b). am i missing something here with the word "enough" ....

IMO E.
they dont tell us how much the notebooks cost. they just tell us that $10 is enough.
each notebook and marker could cost 50 cents each and it could be sufficient, or each notebook could be 99 cents, in which case 4 notebooks and 4 markers would cost more that $10.
The same applies to choice 2.
